Keeping Jackson Heights thriving
Money Saving Tip - Roaches
You are the best house-keeper, yet you still have a roach problem?
How do you combat these pests? You can spray harmful insecticides,
put down roach motels - yet your rate of success will be less than stellar.

Sealing any holes, cracks and crevices that could be the super-highway
for roaches intent on being your unwanted roommates should work.
Caulk, sold in tubes, is a good way to create a barrier into your home.

Caulk where your base boards meet your floors. In older buildings your
baseboards may even have pulled away from the walls leaving cracks
for roaches to enter. Seal any plumbing entry points holes as well.

Once your home is sealed tight, you should be victorious.

Pet Peeve - Curbing your dog

"Excuse me, but your dog left a package on the sidewalk."

Sometimes, dog owners find themselves without a bag to collect their pooches number
two. Yikes! Now there's a dilemma. Normally one can use supermarket bags that would
otherwise be thrown away. But when one forgets or is short one on those days when once
is not enough for poochie, what do you do?

Pet supply stores do offer an incredible device that dispenses poop bags from a holder
that attaches to your dog's leash.
This dispenser is great for your dialy walks or as a
back-up.
